Straight answers.

You need any heart rate monitor that broadcasts over Bluetooth (BLE). That covers every WHOOP 4.0+, Apple Watch (via Apple Health), modern Garmin watches with broadcast mode, all major chest straps from Polar / Wahoo / Garmin / Coros, Samsung Galaxy Watch, and Pixel Watch. Older Garmin watches that only broadcast ANT+ aren't supported — you'd need a chest strap to use with them.
